ARE YOU OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND.

The farm opens daily all year round, including bank holidays (not Christmas/Boxing and New Year day). This does depend on the weather heavy rain/snow the farm may be closed. Please ring first

DO YOU ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS

We accept all cards apart from American express. Please note for Farm entrance and animal feed there is a minimum card payment of £5 

CAN WE BRING A PICNIC

Sorry, we do not allow picnics on the farm, you may be asked to leave if this is not adhered to. Picnic sites can be found around the village.

CAN WE BRING OUR DOG TO THE FARM

Well behaved dogs on a lead at all times are welcome and must be under the responsibility of an adult.

HOW MUCH IS THE ENTRANCE

To enter the tea garden/ kitchen area is free. If you wish to visit the animals (PLEASE SEE HOME PAGE FOR PRICES). Children under 2 years old are free. Sorry, we do not have Family tickets.

DO WE HAVE TO PRE-BOOK

There is no need to pre-book just turn up on the day, although for Birthday parties and groups booking is essential

ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY

Yes, there are tarmac/concrete paths around the farm and the field area is flat. There are some paths which are a bit bumpy.

IS IT OK TO VISIT WHEN PREGNANT

Yes it is ok to visit when pregnant although contact with sheep when lambing should be avoided.

DO YOU SELL ANIMALS

We have chicks and ducklings for sale during spring. If you are interested please ring first.

DO WE TAKE UNWANTED ANIMALS

Sorry, we cannot take in animals.

CAN WE FEED THE ANIMALS

Yes, we sell pots of feed. This is a general feed for all animals. Please do not bring your own feed as this may not be suitable for our animals.

IS THE KITCHEN OPEN DAILY

The kitchen is open weather permitting from April Tuesday – Sunday and weekends October – December. School holidays open every day. During bad weather please ring before travelling

DO WE HAVE A CAR PARK

We have an onsite car park, at peak times we have an overflow car park. Parking is free

IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

There are 2 buses that serve the village, 146 from Bromley town centre 7 days a week and the R8 from Orpington/ Biggin Hill Mon-Sat

Downe house home of Charles Darwin, Biggin Hill Memorial, Museum, High Elms Nature Park
